Ahead of Saturday’s Osun gubernatorial election, the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Wednesday, stormed the State, to campaign for his party’s candidate for the poll, Lasun Yusuf.
Obi appealed to residents not to sell their votes, advising them to collect money from vote buyers and then vote for Labour Party.
“It is easy for you to think that all those other parties who have taken Nigeria to dark days for 32 years are better. You’re the one that are suffering. All those big man they are doing to you, it is your future they have stolen. We want to recover your future,” he said.

While speaking, the Labour Party candidate said he would make life better for the people if elected.
Yusuf said he would alleviate the suffering of the people of Osun, promising youths in the state that they would be gainfully employed if he becomes the governor.
Meanwhile, governorship candidates signed a Peace Accord facilitated by the National Peace Committee under the chairmanship of former Head of State, General Abubakar Abdulsallam, and the Kukah Center.
The candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Adegboyega Oyetola, and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ademola Adeleke were among the candidates that signed the peace accord.
