Alimosho Chapter of the Labour Party (LP) weekend, donated to the centres for people living with disabilities in Lagos in a bid to put smiles on their faces ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The items donated included clothing, food, and drinks.
The Alimosho Labour Party Chairman, Pharm. Kehinde Mamudu, who was represented by Comrade Lorretta Onyeka and Comrade Lolade Ajayi respectively urged the visually impaired to not limit themselves to their disabilities.

In their remark, the host thanked the visitors for identifying with them and also pledged their allegiance to Peter Obi’s mandate.
“All our members are looking forward to the actualisation of Obi’s government which we believe will bring better attention to our plight,” one of the beneficiaries who pleaded anonymity said.
Meanwhile, some members of the Labour Party in Lagos last week, staged a peaceful protest against the alleged imposition of Kayode Salako as chairman of the party in the State.
The protest was held after the launching of the book titled: “The Challenges of Good Governance and Leadership in Nigeria; The Peter Obi Factor” at Welcome Centre Hotel in Lagos.
The protesters, who stormed the venue, called on the national chairman of the party, Julius Abure, to remove Salako as the Lagos Labour Party chairman with immediate effect.
