It was excitement galore as the Labour Party, LP, on Saturday, inaugurated new executives for the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The inauguration was part of the activities of the party to build a formidable structure that will deliver the party’s standard-bearer Peter Obi come 2023.
Those inaugurated were Pharm. Kehinde Mamudu (Chairman), Comr. Loretta (Vice Chairman/Women Leader), Stephen Emordi (Vice Chairman), Azubuike Chukwueke (Vice Chairman), Godwin Anugwo (Vice Chairman), Moses Akujobi (Secretary), Hon. Ekhosuehi Osayamen Presley (Asst. Secretary).

Also inaugurated were Odinaka Gloria Nneka (Treasurer), Ifeoma Anselem (Welfare), Hon. Ololade Ajayi (Guidance and Organising Secretary), Comr. Vivian Obiazi (Publicity Secretary), A.I. Idowu (Asst. Publicity Secretary), Ucheaku Duru (Education Secretary), Wayas Steve (Financial Secretary), Barr. Francis Monye (Legal Adviser).
Others are Hon. Amadi Petrus (Auditor General), Prince Saviour Isong (Youth Leader), and Imeh Ini wisdom (Asst. Youth Leader).
Chairman of the Inauguration Planning Committee and Vice Chairman of Lagos Labour Party, Comr Tony Masha, urged the inaugurated executive members of the party to be steadfast and work in accordance with the laws and constitution of the party.
In his acceptance speech, the newly inaugurated Alimosho Labour Party Chairman, Pharm. Kehinde Mamudu, on behalf of his executives, thanked members and stakeholders of the party for their support and promised to advance the ideals of the party in the area.
