Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, led other government functionaries and party leaders to the Independence Day rally held at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, on Saturday.
There was a low turnout at the venue of the rally following the Independence Day rally by the supporters of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
Many of the pavilions at the expansive stadium were unoccupied. The VIP pavilions had several sections empty, even as a small section of the stadium was occupied by party supporters, according to a Daily Trust report.
