Reactions have continued to trickle from Nigerians on social media over photos of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, reading an old edition of TheNation newspaper, which surfaced on Thursday.
Tinubu shared the photo of himself reading the newspaper on his verified Twitter handle with the caption “Staying focused” and hashtag #BAT2023.
Recall that Tinubu shared a now-viral video of himself cycling on a fitness bike on Sunday, eliciting questions about his whereabouts.

But, the spokesperson of the APC presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo, has said cycling is a regular routine for Tinubu, adding that the former Lagos state governor was not trying to prove any point.
Keyamo, while speaking in an interview with Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday, described Tinubu as an “avid cyclist.”
“People who are close to him know that he is an avid cyclist. He does that all the time. It is his regular routine. So, we are not trying to prove anything to anybody,” he said.
Also, the Deputy Director General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council, Adams Oshiomhole, said the health condition of the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, remains personal and secret to the latter and not a thing of concern to the media or Nigerians at large.
Reacting to the recent photo of Tinubu, Nigerians took to the microblogging site to call out the APC flag-bearer.
