The Spokesman for the APC/Tinubu-Shettima Presidential campaign, Festus Keyamo, says that flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has nothing to prove with regards to his health, saying he will act as he pleases.
Keyamo made the statement when he appeared on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, saying that the APC and Tinubu will not “dance to the tune of the opposition” and Nigerians following repeated calls for transparency on the health status of Tinubu.
Keyamo was responding to questions raised on Tinubu’s current location and state, following the emergence of a viral video on social media, where he was seen exercising on a bicycle.
The video stirred an uproar among Nigerians on social media, as it was later discovered to have been earlier posted on YouTube in 2021.

Tinubu’s absence at major events scheduled for presidential candidates (NBA Conference and Peace Accord signing) has sent tongues wagging, with Nigerians and opposition figures questioning the rationale behind his decision to stay away.
Responding to the query on Tinubu’s location, Keyamo said, “In my Twitter post on it, I said we are not trying to prove anything to anybody. Our candidate is not struggling to prove himself to anybody.

“So, it is not at every point in time when you ask mischievous questions that we will be struggling to prove ourselves. We are not dancing to the tune and music of the opposition.
“We have our own tune and music and we will play our music the way we want to play our music and dance the way we want to dance.”
