Details of the meeting between the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, and his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Atiku Abubakar, have emerged.
The duo met at the private wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja on Monday, November 14.
The APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, and a former PDP presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatudeen were at the airport when Tinubu and Atiku met.
While Tinubu was heading to Jos, Plateau, to flag off his presidential campaign, Atiku was heading to Lagos, according to media sources.
During the meeting, both presidential candidates exchanged pleasantries — a development that stirred mixed reactions among their supporters.
Quest Times findings revealed that Atiku, during the meeting, asked if Tinubu was returning to his State (Lagos), but the latter said he has relocated to Abuja.
The former vice president asked, “Are you going to Lagos?”
Responding, Tinubu answered, “I have moved to Abuja.”
It is the second time both men are running into each other at the airport, since the 2023 electioneering campaigns began.
