It was a reign of terror as bandits have reportedly killed a community leader, Malam Ibrahim Abdullahi and his nephew in Unguwar Mai Awo village, Igabi area of Kaduna state.
They also abducted four women in the process.

Abdullahi, a community leader and member of the Fityanul Islam First Aid Group, Igabi Local chapter was killed alongside his nephew early morning on Wednesday in his residence.
A resident in the community, Mallam Nasir Idris, said bandits stormed the community around 3.30am, Wednesday, killed the community leader and his nephew and later moved to another location within the community and abducted four women, including a nursing mother.
He said the bandits shot sporadically to scare the villagers away when they arrived in the community, adding that two other residents in the same village were injured, but were taken to the hospital for medical attention
“The bandits killed Malam Ibrahim Abdullahi who is a community leader and also a Chairman of Fityanul Islam First Aid group of the area and his nephew Zakari Yau. Four women including a nursing mother were also abducted by the bandits from the community” he said.

The Public Relations Officer of the Command, DSP Mohammed Jalige did not pick his calls to confirm the situation as of the time of filing this report.
