Reactions have continued to trail the appointment of former Super Eagles winger and former U20 Head Coach, Emmanuel Amuneke as Chief Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The ex-Barcelona winger’s appointment was confirmed in an official statement by the Nigerian Football Federation on Monday, 7th February 2022.
Amuneke’s appointment as Chief Coach sees him become the immediate assistant to Interim Head Coach and Technical Adviser, Austin Eguavoen ahead of the crucial 2022 World Cup Qualifying play-offs against the Black Stars of Ghana.

The appointment of Amuneke generated some confusion as some fans were confused as to who will be incharge of the Super Eagles, while others were excited by his appointment.
