Who is Prince Charles?
Charles Philip Arthur George, otherwise known as Prince Charles is the longest-serving Prince of Wales, longest-serving heir apparent, and longest-serving Duke of Cornwall and Rothesay. He is a responsible royal whose life has been in the spotlight since his birth. He is believed to be the oldest man to become King in British History.

Age
He was born at Buckingham Palace on November 14, 1948.
Educational background
He first attended the Hill House School in 1956 and in 1962, he moved to the Gordonstoun School in Scotland. Thereafter, he proceeded to Cambridge University in 1967 and bagged a 2:2 degree in History.
After being named the Prince of Wales in 1969, Charles went on to train with the Royal Air Force as a pilot in 1971.
Favourite Sports
From his youth until 1992, King Charles was an avid player of competitive polo. He is also a lover of fox hunting and frequently took part in the sport until it was banned in UK in 2005.
Marital life
He got married to Lady Diana Spencer on July 29, 1981, in what was heralded at the time as a fairy tale wedding, and the union produced two sons: Prince William and Prince Harry.
In 1992, Charles and his wife separated and their marriage was officially dissolved in 1996. A year later, Princess Diana was killed in a car crash in Paris.
Honours
On 16 June, Queen Elizabeth II awarded him the highest honourary rank in all three branches of the British Armed Forces, installing him as Admiral of the Fleet, Field Marshal and Marshal of the Royal Air Force.
Some of his titles include KG (Knight of the Garter), Order of Merit (OM), Duke of Rothesay, Knight of the Order of Australia (AK), Baron of Renfrew, Companion of the Queen’s Service Order (QSO), Earl of Chester, Privy Counsellor (PC), Aide-De-Camp (ADC), Duke of Cornwall, Earl of Carrick, Prince and Great Steward of Scotland, and Lord of the Isles.
