*How Tinubu’s wife, Gov Sanwo-Olu fears Seyi
As the Perfect Jubilee 70th Convention of the RCCG continues Friday evening, the Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate Peter Obi, again stole the show when he was introduced by the female pastor MC as among the special guests attending the service.
After introducing the Akwa Ibom State Governor Emmanuel Udom and the wife of the Ogun State Governor, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun, the MC then introduced Mr Peter Obi who she noted was coming to the Redemption Camp for the first time.
The applause was so loud and prolonged that the MC had to say “it’s Jesus Christ that we are celebrating!”
All is not well inside the All Progressive Congress, APC, presidential candidate’s camp as his son, Seyi Tinubu, is reportedly in a free for all with Director of Media & Publicity of the Tinubu Campaign Organisation, Bayo Onanuga.
Those who know Mr Bayo Onanuga will be sad to know that he has been taking orders from the son of APC presidential flagbearer, Seyi Tinubu.
Witnesses at several meetings and interactions of the campaign operatives can’t stop telling tales of how Seyi generally barks at people–some old enough to be his dad, such as Mr Onanuga.

Onanuga is among Nigeria’s most notable journalists. In 1992 as editor of African Concord, he walked out on Chief MKO Abiola, the owner of the publication, after he had published a news report that then Military President Ibrahim Babangida didn’t fancy.
Abiola asked Onanuga to apologise to Babangida for the publication but he refused and instead resigned and with a few other journalists in the publication, he started The News magazine.
It was while publishing The News magazine where he was Editor in Chief, that his relationship with Tinubu concretised. Later in 1999 when Tinubu became Governor, Onanuga and other top journalists in The News became even closer.
Which is why some of the witnesses to how Seyi barks orders even to people like Onanuga, wonder why the age-old and veteran journalist tolerates such behaviour.
Seyi Tinubu’s influence in his father’s campaign and life has been such an open secret so much that Tinubu’s wife, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, is said to be afraid of him. Seyi was born to Tinubu by another woman.
So much is Seyi’s influence that even the current Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, takes orders from him. An example is how Seyi nominated some State Commissioners which Sanwo-Olu accepted without even checking from Tinubu himself.
Efforts to reach Mr Onanuga proved abortive as he did not take his call.

It would be recalled that the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Obi, also recently got a massive welcome in Abuja when he attended the Dunamis Church pastored by Dr Paul Enenche.
