The Governor Nyesom Wike-led G-5 Governors have allegedly agreed to work for the presidential candidate of People Democractic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar.
The group however said to have demanded for a fresh demands to sheaths sword.

Daily Post reports that the former military head of state, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (rtd) appears to have brought the crisis rocking the main opposition party to an end.
Açcording to the report, the parley which appeared to be fruitful saw the G5 making fresh demands and agreed to work for the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar, if their fresh demands would be acceded to.
Their demands include; “That the top government offices should be shared among the six geo-political zones.

“That the security chiefs should be shared among all the geo-political zones and that all the party’s offices in the South should move to the North and vice versa if Atiku wins.”
The G5 governors, which include Rivers State’s Nyesom Wike, Benue State’s Samuel Ortom, Oyo State’s Seyi Makinde, Abia State’s Okezie Ikpeazu, and Enugu State’s Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, have all called for Ayu’s resignation.
The governors, led by Wike, stated that the PDP’s National Chairman and the presidential nominee cannot be from the same region.
Following the election of Atiku Abubakar as the PDP’s presidential candidate, the Wike-led group became enraged with the party’s leadership.
