Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has cleared the air on viral news claiming his wife, Naomi Silekunola divorced him.
The queen has announced her separation from the monarch on her verified Instagram page Thursday, citing irreconcilable differences between the duo.
However, the monarch through his Director of Media and Public Affairs, Moses Olafare, described the news as “not true and should not be taken seriously”.
“This is not the first time such rumours had been peddled. There was a time it was reported that she left the palace and the next thing, she gave birth. So, the story is not true and it should not be taken seriously,” the media aide told Vanguard.

In 2008, he married Adebukola Bombata, from whom he separated in 2016 to marry Zaynab Otiti Obanor, (his second wife from 2016 to 2017).
He wedded Prophetess Naomi in October 2018, and is presently tied to Olori Ashley Afolashade whom he introduced to his birthday party guests as his wife in October 2021, Quest Times gathered.
