The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has suspended its planned nationwide protest against the the Federal Government’s decision to remove subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit (PMS),  otherwise called petrol.

The NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, said the decision to suspend the protest was based on suspension of the proposal to stop subsidy on petrol by the federal government.

Recall that the NLC had mobilized its members across the country for protests scheduled to hold on January 27 and February 2.
