Commonwealth gold medalist and 100m hurdles world record holder, Tobi Amusan and other 2022 Commonwealth Games medalists have been conferred with national honours by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The award ceremony, which was held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, in Abuja saw Tobi Amusan who took the 2022 CWG by storm, setting a world record en route to winning a gold medal, receive the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).

Ahmad posted, “Our Amazon, Tobi Amosun (sic), Adijat Olarinoye and other Nigerian medalists at the 2022 Commonwealth and World Athletics, have just been conferred with various National Honors. The attached video is Amosun (sic) receiving the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) from President @MBuhari.“
