Pop sensation Ayra Starr (20) has revealed that she was nervous when she first worked with Wizkid in a recording studio.
Ayra Starr, who featured on Wizkid’s hit song “2 Sugar” from the album “MLLE,” revealed that her heart was racing when she first met him in the studio.
During an interview with Chito and CYD on Kenyan Radio Station, KissFM, Ayra Starr was asked how it felt like to work with a legend like Wizkid, who has made significant contributions to Afrobeats in Nigeria and Africa.
Ayra Starr replied, “My heart was beating so fast, what if I don’t know what to sing, I don’t know what to do, you know sometimes you get to the studio and like nothing is there.
“He had the whole song, I just did the hook of that one, and I started freestyling and then he looked at me, he says what’s that then he told me to go to the studio and I did everything in one take.”
