Nollywood actor, skitmaker and activist, Mr Macaroni, has called out presidential aide Bashir Ahmad, over the rising price of fuel and the attendant scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) popularly called petrol.
The comedian lashed out at Bashir Ahmad in a post on Twitter, describing President Buhari’s aide and supporters of the governing APC, as “advocates of civil war and anarchy some years ago.”
Mr Macaroni noted that Ahmad had threatened that there will be a civil war if the price of petrol is not left at N65 some years ago, but there is fuel scarcity right now in Nigeria and those who allegedly threatened a civil war at the time are now quiet.
Petrol is being dispensed at the pumps at inflated prices that range from N170-N250/liter. The product is also not readily available at gas stations these days, as black marketers make a kill.
‘‘These are those who call themselves Patriots today. Some of those who are in government now were advocates of Civil war and anarchy some years ago. They are in power now, there is fuel scarcity everywhere, the people are suffering. If we talk, they call us Enemies of Nigeria,’’ Macaroni wrote on Twitter.
