Some accused the President of not answering questions posed to him, while others were at a loss as to why President Buhari is fixated on farming, when there are other avenues to spur economic development in Nigeria

Here are some reactions to President Buhari’s Channels TV interview

@iSlimfit Buhari’s solution to every problem is farming.

@DemolaRewaju Only takeaway from the Buhari interview is that NASS must immediately amend the Electoral Reforms Bill and send it to Mr President. Nigeria must move beyond both Buhari and his fraudulent “we-don’t-understand-restructuring” APC party in 2023. Nothing good can come from them.

@OgbeniDipo President Buhari isn’t ready to entertain discussions on State Policing. Luckily, his tenure ends next year.

@Nesta_ehi I’ve seen lots of reactions from Buhari interview yesterday but we are not focusing on the part he said he already have a candidate for 2023. That should be focus of the matter IMO

@FS_Yusuf_ 7 years later, Buhari is still talking about Agriculture. He is still hoping that the Agriculture Ministry which he appointed a 17th-century Subsistence Farmer to manage. Buhari isn’t in 2022. Times has left him. We wasted 8 years.

@SteveDedee Buhari talks about Nigerians with so much disdain and disgust. He speaks like he’s talking about people who are spoilt and having it easy in life. Where does this hate come from?

@asemota Many people who were on the edge about migration just made up their minds after the Buhari interview. 17 more months of abuse is too had to take.

On the other hand, some usual suspects cheered President Buhari’s Channels TV interview.

APC chieftain, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode hailed President Buhari for his wisdom in keeping his preferred candidate in 2023 secret.

President Muhammadu Buhari on his favourite Presidential aspirant for 2023….

"My favourite may be eliminated before the time if I mention his name. I will keep it a secret"- PMB.

THE DEEPEST WISDOM.

Talking about legacy, @MBuhari should focus on giving Nigerians a credible, transparent and fair elections 2023.
Be it his secret favorite or not, he should prove to Nigerians how much a man of integrity he is.
Nigerians will forever put that in record. #BuhariInterview pic.twitter.com/m9vUCLTazD

Every country has its potential. Considering how Nigeria is, Agriculture is one the biggest sector we should focus on. President Buhari said nothing but the truth in his interview with Channels.

Agriculture is a fountain of jobs for all level of job seekers, whether skilled 1/2
