Embattled minister Festus Keyamo has debunked the alleged plan by President Muhammadu Buhari to remove him as the spokesperson for the APC/Bola Tinubu presidential campaign council.
Reports had emerged on Monday that President Buhari and members of the Aso Rock cabal allegedly called for the removal of Festus Keyamo as the spokesperson for the APC Campaign Council for “always de-marketing the Buhari-led administration”.
Reacting, Keyamo on his Twitter page said the news was fake.

”Very funny fake news. When people feel uncomfortable with your uncompromising defence of your mandate, they promote such fake news to achieve a purpose.
”The opposition think they can plant stories to destabilise our ranks. This is the height of the panic mode they find themselves,” he tweeted.
Also, the spokesperson to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Garba Shehu debunked the purported plan to remove Keyamo as Tinubu’s spokesperson.
“The news that President Muhammadu Buhari has called for the removal of Festus Keyamo, SAN as a spokesperson of the APC Presidential Campaign Council is fake news,” he tweeted.
