With the news of the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke (Davido’s son) few days ago to swimming pool mishap, and the completion of the autopsy, the Adelekes will now secretly bury their son according to Yoruba tradition.

Quest Times gathered that the family waited for the autopsy report before taking decisions on the burial to be done in Lagos.
It is noted that Yoruba tradition frowns at elaborate burials for infants and young adults especially those whose parents are still alive.
Also, parents in Yoruba culture are forbidden from attending their children’s funeral. This is considered a taboo.

The decision on when and where to bury the departed Ifeanyi was taken by the extended family as tradition demands.
Sources close to the family did not give QUEST TIMES the precise venue of burial but a source indicates that departed Ifeanyi will be buried in Lagos in one of the top notch funeral vaults.
One source claims the boy may be buried at Vaults & Gardens while another mentioned another well-known location in Ikoyi.
