The immediate past Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, has been confirmed dead after a brief illness.
The Quest Times gathered that the former Chairman of Ado Local Government Area of Ekiti, died around 8pm on Friday at a private hospital in Ado-Ekiti.
Egbeyemi who was 78 years old and a native of Ado-Ekiti, was born on 8th of May 1944.

Egbeyemi’s last public appearance was on February 25, during the presidential and National Assembly election.
He read law at the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) from 1977 to 1980 and was at the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos between 1980 and 1981 where he obtained his Barrister at Law certificate and was called to the Bar in 1981 as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
The deceased who served as Chairman, Ado Ekiti Local Government Area between 1992-93, was deputy governor of the state between 2018 and 2022.
