A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has described the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, as either sick or irresponsible over his return trip to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, just six weeks to the 2023 elections.
Atiku’s recent trip to Dubai has raised concerns over the PDP candidate’s health status in public discussions, since it was announced.

In a Facebook post, Fani-Kayode said Atiku who aims to be Nigeria’s president left Nigeria before Christmas and won’t be back until January 11th.
He described Atiku as either “sick or irresponsible”
He said, “Atiku Ibn Dubai wants to be our President yet he left Nigeria BEFORE last Christmas and won’t be back till Jan. 11th!
“All this tomfoolery during a presidential campaign and 6 weeks before elections? Is he serious at all?
“He is either very SICK or IRRESPONSIBLE or BOTH.
“I pity his gullible followers.”
In a chat with QUEST TIMES on Sunday January 7, Atiku’s media aide, Paul Ibe, insisted that his principal is not admitted to any hospital. He said: “Journalism has gone to the dogs and there are some things that we shouldn’t be spreading.

“Are there no hospitals where the presidential candidate is? So it’s just fake news and one has to be more diligent.”
