APC VP candidate in a closed-door meeting Kogi governor Yahaya Bello at the latter's Abuja residence, yesterday.

Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello on Monday evening, received All Progressives Congress, APC, Vice-Presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima at his Abuja residence.

It was gathered that the duo had a brief closed-door meeting ahead of the 2023 general elections.

An inside source told Quest Times that their conversation centred on strategies for winning the 2023 elections.

“Though not disclosed, people close to the discussions said talks centred around strategies for winning the 2023 elections.

“The governor expressed confidence that all stakeholders are working together to ensure PDP doesn’t come back to the Villa,” the source told Quest Times.

Speaking after the meeting, Bello said that APC’s victory in 2023 will be a win for Nigerians.

According to him, the party has the right strategies in place to tackle the challenges across all boards.

Bello, as part of his commitment to the victory of the party, had donated his campaign building to the party’s Presidential flag-bearer, Bola Tinubu.
