Reactions have started trailing the killing of Deborah Samuel by a mob in Sokoto on Thursday, May 12, over alleged blasphemy.
Quest Times earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari ordered a probe into the incident while the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, also joined the calls for the government to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Deborah Samuel aka “Deborah Yakubu” was a 200-level Home Economics student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto.
She was born in 1997.
The 25-year-old was reportedly from Tungan Magajiya Rijau LGA of Niger.
Deborah was the sisters’ Coordinator of the Fellowship of Christian Students at the college.
Based on unpopular opinion, the 200-level student was allegedly killed by the guy (with the matches box) in the viral video who reportedly made advances to her but was turned down by the former.
