Reactions have started trailing the killing of Deborah Samuel by a mob in Sokoto on Thursday, May 12, over alleged blasphemy.
Quest Times earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari ordered a probe into the incident while the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, also joined the calls for the government to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Here are the five (5) things you probably don’t know about the late 200L student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto;
- Deborah Samuel aka “Deborah Yakubu” was a 200-level Home Economics student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto.
- She was born in 1997.
- The 25-year-old was reportedly from Tungan Magajiya Rijau LGA of Niger.
- Deborah was the sisters’ Coordinator of the Fellowship of Christian Students at the college.
- Based on unpopular opinion, the 200-level student was allegedly killed by the guy (with the matches box) in the viral video who reportedly made advances to her but was turned down by the former.
