According to a some report, the other five disgruntled candidates declined to take part in the new primary on the grounds that the Supreme Court did not order it.
Sen. Bwacha received 778 votes in the recently held primaries, compared to Sen. Yusuf A. Yusuf, who received only 5. The other candidates received 0 votes.
