In what can be described as putting a finishing touch on which Presidential Candidate to support, the self-described integrity group composed of five Governors (G-5) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has once again jetted out to London.

The governors left the country for London on Monday, via the Port Harcourt International Airport for another strategic meeting.

The Governors are Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu).

According to a reliable source close to Government House, Port Harcourt, the governors will return to Nigeria on December 30 after their conclusion on which party to support.

Recalled that in order to maintain party unity and join the presidential campaign council of the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, the G-5 Governors have demanded the resignation of Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, the PDP’s national chairman.

The aggrieved Governors have maintained that the party’s choice of a presidential candidate and national chairman from the north does not justify the arrangement by party laws and regulations.
