Ahead of the 2023 elections, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, the leader of Afenifere, the Yoruba apex socio-cultural group, has reconciled Alhaji Moshood Salvador and his rival, the Labour Party gubernatorial candidate for Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, among other aggrieved parties in the State.
The Yoruba elder statesman in a meeting, which lasted till the midnight of Tuesday, August 15, resolved the lingering crisis in the party.
At the end of the meeting, Alh Salvador reportedly accepted to run for Senate in the Lagos West constituency, and promised to work with the party for the victory of Gbadebo in the 2023 general election.

When contacted on phone, the Labour Party candidate Gbadebo also confirmed the development on Wednesday.
“Yes, it has,” he replied our reporter, when asked if the party’s crisis has been resolved.
