It was an ecstatic moment and mixed feelings when the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, stormed Owerri, Imo State capital on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
Obi, who was welcomed by a large crowd of supporters, assured that under his command as the president of Nigeria, Imo will be secured.
While urging the people of the State to continue to support and vote for LP, he vowed to change Nigeria to become a country where people will have jobs and young people with energy will be part of governance in the country.

The former Anambra State Governor also promised to end the recurring strikes in the Nigerian educational system, adding that his government would serve the students.
Earlier, Obi and Governor Hope Uzodinma were locked in a warm embrace at the Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri.
The two politicians met coincidentally at the airport.
The Quest Times understands Uzodinma arrived in the State from Abuja while Obi was in Imo for a presidential rally.
At the airport, Obi briefly exchanged pleasantries with Uzodimma, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and one of those championing the agenda of the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu in the South-East geopolitical zone.
