Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and his running mate, Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, are currently in a closed-door meeting with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Abuja.
This comes a few days after the CAN leadership met the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.

Quest Times gathered that several leaders of the PDP accompanied Atiku to the interactive session.
Details of the meeting were still sketchy at the time of filing this report.
